Vericut Japan Celebrates 20 Years of Supporting Precision Manufacturing Excellence.

    4 min read time

Tokyo, Japan – July 2026 | Vericut Japan is celebrating its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of supporting Japanese manufacturers with world-leading CNC simulation, verification, and optimization solutions.

Since opening its doors on January 1, 2006, Vericut Japan has grown alongside one of the world's most advanced manufacturing industries.

Today, with offices in both Tokyo and Nagoya, more than 5,000 Vericut licenses installed across the country, and a nationwide network of over 40 reseller partners, the company continues to help manufacturers machine with greater confidence, efficiency, and precision.

For twenty years, Vericut Japan has supported industries where accuracy is everything: from automotive and aerospace to machine tools, mold and die, precision machining, and energy.

Throughout that time, manufacturing itself has transformed dramatically. Machine tools have become faster, components have become more complex, multi-axis machining has become commonplace, and digital manufacturing has accelerated.

Yet one challenge has remained constant: ensuring every NC program performs exactly as intended before production begins.

Helping manufacturers solve that challenge has been Vericut Japan's focus from day one.

Forged around customer success and satisfaction.

Technology alone has never defined Vericut Japan. Instead, its renowned reputation has been built on the expertise of its people, and its purpose.

Today, the Japan team comprises 19 employees, with approximately half serving as highly experienced Application Engineers who work directly with customers to implement, support, and optimize Vericut across a wide range of manufacturing environments.

This technical expertise is complemented by dedicated training facilities in both Tokyo and Nagoya, where regular Vericut training courses are held each month, giving manufacturers the opportunity to continually develop their programming knowledge, and maximize the value of their investment.

The result is a customer support model focused not simply on software implementation, but on long-term manufacturing success and satisfaction.

Strengthening Japan’s manufacturing through meaningful partnership.

Collaboration has also played a significant role in Vericut Japan's growth over the past two decades.

Working alongside more than 40 reseller partners, Vericut Japan has established a nationwide sales and support network that enables manufacturers across the country, and indeed Asia, to access both local expertise and world-class CNC simulation technology.

These relationships also extend beyond distribution. Each year, Vericut Japan hosts its Vericut Reseller Meeting (VRM), recognizing outstanding reseller achievements, while strengthening collaboration across its partner network.

The company also works closely with industry leaders, including Sandvik Coromant and leading machine tool manufacturers, to deliver technical seminars that explore the latest developments in CNC programming, machining strategies, and manufacturing technology.

    Spreading engineering insight.

Knowledge sharing has remained central to Vericut Japan's approach since its establishment.

The company is a familiar presence at Japan's leading manufacturing exhibitions, including JIMTOF and MECT, and hosts Vericut Users' Exchange (VUE) events throughout the year.

Often held within customer factories or technical centres in collaboration with manufacturing partners, these events provide opportunities for users to exchange knowledge, explore emerging machining technologies, and learn from real-world manufacturing applications.

By bringing together manufacturers, partners, programmers, and engineers, Vericut Japan continues to help strengthen the wider manufacturing community - not just through software, but through shared expertise.

Looking towards the next 20 years.

As Japanese manufacturers continue embracing greater automation, digital manufacturing, AI-assisted programming, and increasingly sophisticated CNC technologies, the importance of simulation and verification will only continue to grow.

After twenty years of supporting manufacturers across Japan, Vericut remains committed to helping customers reduce machining risk, optimize performance, and manufacture increasingly complex components with confidence.

Reflecting on the milestone, the Vericut Japan team sees the anniversary not simply as a celebration of the past, but as the beginning of the next chapter.

Twenty years ago, Vericut Japan set out to help manufacturers machine more safely and efficiently.

Today, that mission remains exactly the same.
