Demand for Vericut Drives Restructure and Expansion

1 min read time

Due to the continued expansion of the Vericut user base and increasing demand for CGTech’s CNC machine simulation, verification and optimisation products, the software company has restructured its UK sales operations and expanded its technical support division.

As of January 2024, Jonathan Hollinworth, formerly UK Technical Support Engineer, moved into a sales position delivering technical sales to existing and prospect customers in the North of England and Scotland.

Jonathan comments: “Having worked in a technical support role at CGTech for two years I am excited to be taking a new direction in my career and I am looking forward to helping manufacturers realise the power and potential of Vericut.”

In response to Jonathan’s transfer into Sales and to accommodate the growing Vericut customer base in the UK, CGTech has also appointed two new Technical Support Engineers.

James Williams and Paul Goodson have already completed an intensive initial training programme to get up to speed with Vericut, and will continue to learn and gain experience of the world’s leading independent machine tool simulation and cutting process optimisation software.

Gavin Bridger, Technical Support Manager, says: “The appointment of these two new Technical Support Engineers is testament to the positive growth of Vericut in the UK, and their engineering experience will bolster our market leading technical support service.”
