    Vericut Interfaces

Create more powerful and reliable NC programs with Vericut Interface. Vericut Interface seamlessly connects with your existing CAD/CAM software, including Mastercam, Siemens NX, CATIA V5, GibbsCAM, PowerMill, and many more.

    Vericut CAD/CAM Interfaces

Vericut’s CAD/CAM interfaces simplify the process of verifying, optimizing, and simulating NC programs. Instead of manually recreating machine setups or importing models piece by piece, you can transfer toolpaths, fixtures, assemblies, and other essential data into Vericut with just a few clicks.

Stock models, fixtures, design geometry, NC programs, tooling and machine configurations are automatically imported in the correct orientation. This streamlined workflow saves valuable programming time, minimizes the risk of errors, and ensures your programs perform exactly as intended on the shop floor.

    Supported Vericut Interfaces

Vericut integrates with many of the world’s most widely used CAD/CAM systems.

    "Quick Start" Training Sessions

Our Quick Start training sessions are designed to teach the fundamentals of running a Vericut simulation by utilizing one of several available Vericut CAM Interfaces. Each set of training files includes videos, documentation, sample files, and exercises for the user to follow along.

    Vericut Tooling Interfaces

Tool management interfaces retrieve tool lists from your tool management system and generate Vericut tool assemblies through a real-time connection.

    Vericut Model Interfaces

Model interfaces allow Vericut to read the native model file formats and use them as stock, fixtures, design, tool holders and machine models. When combined with Model Export, Vericut can also export simulated stock back to supported model formats.

These interfaces operate independently of CAD/CAM software, meaning Vericut can import and export supported files without requiring the original CAD/CAM systems.

    frequently asked questions:

    Vericut Interfaces FAQs.

    01.
Which CAM systems does Vericut integrate with?

Vericut integrates with leading CAD/CAM platforms, including Siemens NX, Mastercam, CATIA V5, GibbsCAM, PowerMill, SolidCAM, and many others.

    02.
Do I need a post-processor to connect my CAM software?

Not necessarily. Toolpaths can be exported directly from most CAM systems. A post-processor is only required if you want to validate the generated NC code.

    03.
Are interfaces included with Vericut, or purchased separately?

Interfaces are licensed individually, allowing you to purchase only the integrations your business requires.

    04.
Will my CAM setup transfer into Vericut?

Yes. Toolpaths, tooling, fixtures, machine setups, and project information are transferred automatically to maintain consistency between Vericut and your CAM environment.

    05.
Are interfaces updated for new CAM software releases?

Yes. Vericut continually updates its interfaces to ensure compatibility with the latest CAD/CAM software versions.

    06.
    What is a “Model” Interface?

A Model Interface enables Vericut to import 3D models, including parts, fixtures, tooling, and assemblies for accurate machining simulation.

    07.
Can Vericut compare CAD models with NC programs?

Yes. Vericut compares the original CAD model against the post-processed NC program to identify any deviations and highlight any mismatches.

    08.
    Will interfaces improve efficiency?

Yes. Direct data transfer removes the need to recreate setups or manually import geometry, reducing setup time and minimizing errors.

    09.
Is special training required to use Vericut interfaces?

No. Most interfaces are intuitive and designed to fit naturally into existing workflows. Optional training and tutorials are available for advanced functionality.

    10.
Can multiple programmers use the same Vericut interface?

Yes. Interface configurations can be shared across teams, ensuring consistent settings throughout your organisation.

    11.
What happens if my CAM software updates before Vericut does?

Vericut actively maintains its interfaces to support new software releases. Simply install the latest Vericut updates or patch to maintain compatibility.

    12.
Can I automate the process of sending toolpaths from CAM to Vericut?

Yes. Vericut interfaces support scripting, automation tools, and API integration, making it easy to automate repetitive tasks and batch simulations.

    12.
Are advanced machining strategies preserved in Vericut?

Yes. Adaptive roughing, high-speed machining, simultaneous 5-axis operations, and other advanced toolpath strategies are transferred accurately so simulations closely match the final machining process.
